It has been an exciting week at Punchh, to put it mildly. On the heels of our acquisition news, we were thrilled to accept the award for Best Technology Platform from Hospitality Today during their Industry Hero Awards program on April 14th at the 26th annual MURTEC (Multi-Unit Restaurant Technology Conference).
The spirit of the award echoes our mission from the past 13 months to pledge our support to our customers and their employees during one of the most challenging times in the history of the restaurant industry. We believe that personalized loyalty and offers and data-driven customer engagement are the keys to unlock the experience consumers expect today. Fazoli’s, a Punchh customer since 2017, was also given an Industry Heroes award for their commitment to essential workers during the pandemic and their seemingly effortless pivot to technologies like drive-thru and curbside pickup and contactless payments–all designed with guest safety and convenience at the forefront. As one of the brands that used digital customer loyalty to streamline and elevate the customer experience, Fazoli’s experienced record-breaking sales and traffic during 2020. Loyalty and CX go hand-in-hand, according to Will Hanrahan, the Digital Marketing Manager for Fazoli’s. As we emerge from the darkest days of the pandemic, our mission hasn’t changed.
