Punchh extends a huge congratulations to our customers who recently earned top restaurant honors!

Fast Casual recently announced the winners of its annual Top Movers and Shakers award. According to the publication, they recognized 75 brands and 25 leaders, who are propelling the fast casual industry forward.

We’re so excited to be partnering with over 25% of the brands and 6 of the top executives who won the awards. We can testify that all of them fully deserve the honors because we have been watching them adopt bold approaches to grow their businesses – developing new and exciting menu items, adopting cutting-edge technologies to deliver superior customer experience, and building a community of loyal customers and brand advocates.

Despite testing times in the past few months, these brands’ creativity and resilience as well as their dedication to their employees, customers and communities have been second to none.

Here are some examples of how our customers are incorporating technology to drive sales and build 1:1 guest connections:

Blaze Pizza

Last year, Blaze Pizza introduced a plant-based protein option. In the summer, it became the first national pizza concept to offer a Keto Crust. The brand also entered into the digital commerce game, building a full-on delivery and carryout ecosystem.

Wahlburgers

Last year Wahlburgers launched a mobile app featuring user-friendly experiences such as online ordering and access to extended member benefits through its WahlClub, the brand’s loyalty rewards program. To further engage with customers, the chain created “Virtual Visitor,”an automated, live experience that enables the Wahlberg family to remotely video into restaurants and have face-to-face conversations with guests.

 Fazoli’s

Technology upgrades were important for Fazoli’s last year with the brand elevating all off-premise business and digital technology. Another key was online ordering success due to mobile app upgrades to create a frictionless user experience. Just one month following the launch, loyalty sales increased 42%.

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop

With a laid-back vibe and a cult-like following, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop put a new leadership team in place to propel the franchise as it looks to expand. They also created a mobile app and offer online ordering, digital menu boards, digital recipe books and a digital POS system.

Teriyaki Madness

Teriyaki Madness is a fully digital company that grew sales 171% over the past three years. Franchisees are encouraged to make each store unique to their neighborhood surroundings or even identity of the owner.
