Punchh Announces New Product Innovations for Loyalty, Offers, and Customer Engagement

When Punchh was founded in 2010, our co-founders recognized an opportunity to solve a problem for restaurant and retail brands. They knew that by connecting online and “offline” data points to better understand customer behaviors and buying preferences, brands could drive greater loyalty and higher customer lifetime value while offering a differentiated loyalty experience.

Eleven years and 200 global brands later, that mission remains the same–as does our commitment to innovation that is born directly from feedback, partnership and collaboration with our customers. As part of that commitment, we are pleased to announce our Spring 2021 Product and Innovation release for the Punchh Loyalty, Offers, and Engagement Platform.

Consumer expectations for fast, frictionless digital experiences are here to stay. Even as the world returns to some semblance of “normal,” restaurants, convenience stores, and other retailers will always need the ability to quickly collect and act on data from every touchpoint. Whether it’s collected at the POS, in a mobile app, at a fuel pump, or at an in-store counter, real-time data is the key that unlocks agility and personalization for a better customer experience.

The Spring 2021 Release rallies around the need for always-on reporting, analytics, and engagement capabilities for our clients. To that end, we are introducing a fully redesigned view of campaign performance in a single panel that offers expanded visual insights, a synchronized view of metrics across campaigns, a modernized user experience, and flexible components for increased extensibility over time as new campaigns are added and deployed. The new campaign performance view includes at-a-glance visibility into pre & post-campaign trend lines and expanded email engagement metrics that were also delivered as part of the spring release.

Next, we made several enhancements to Journeys, our multi-step marketing campaign building tool, including a comprehensive diagnostics log to track and analyze campaign events, along with expanded coupon functionality that allows restaurant marketers to target guests outside of their loyalty program with intuitive, journey-based email marketing.

And in a continued effort to help our clients protect the financial health and future success of their loyalty programs, we’ve added new, out-of-the-box liability and activity reporting functionality to help finance teams and corporate marketers better track and estimate loyalty redemptions for a clearer understanding of their program liability. It makes it easier for our clients to protect against fraud and allows them to make quick adjustments to their strategy to balance cost without compromising the loyalty experience.

Finally, as part of the Spring 2021 Release, we’ve enabled our clients to build an increasingly detailed customer database through the seamless export of any Punchh user data field into their customer data platform (CDP) in real-time. With greater visibility to richer omnichannel customer profiles, our clients can segment customers at a more granular level to create targeted and highly personalized marketing campaigns.
