Shyam Rao

Shyam Rao is a co-founder and CEO of Punchh. Previously, Shyam held positions of increasing seniority at Motorola in its CDMA and WiMAX divisions. He co-founded LoCognition, a mobile startup focused on aggregating and standardizing access to location-based services across different cellular networks. He was on the Principal Investments Team at Merrill Lynch and was vice president of business development at Prime Focus, a large media-services company. Shyam earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
