Freebirds fans can now purchase their favorite dishes with ease by way of the fast-casual eatery’s new mobile app. Available for download from the Google Play Store (Android) or the App Store (iOS), Freebirds’ new app allows guests to submit a mobile order for pickup, keep track of orders, re-order their favorite entrées, purchase gift cards, pay through stored mobile gift cards, and engage with an interactive rewards loyalty program known as All Access Rewards.

Freebirds has partnered with Silicon Valley–based company, Punchh, a mobile loyalty and insights platform, to create a unique mobile engagement experience for its customers. Punchh has built a native ordering platform through their partnership with NuOrder, which means it was specifically developed for the Freebirds application and allows guests to earn points for ordering on the mobile app.

The Freebirds All Access Rewards Program is based on an accrual of points for dollars spent, which are tracked and recorded when a guest scans the barcode represented on the receipt of their purchase. With the accumulated points earned, their guests will have the opportunity to redeem an item under the Redeem Rewards list, such as free queso or guacamole, T-shirts, tote bags, a burrito party for 10, a mystery package and much more.

Freebirds offers multiple opportunities to earn points when downloading the app and connecting with friends through social media. As each user registers, the guest will automatically receive a free Freebirds sized entrée with a purchase of a 24-ounce drink. Users who register with their Facebook account will automatically be awarded 10 points. The mobile app also provides each guest with a personalized invite code to share via Facebook, Twitter, text, or email, for friends to input during the registration process. Once the friend enters the invite code and scans their first receipt using the mobile app, the guest will automatically receive 10 points for referring a friend.

The Freebirds app also allows users to send, receive, and store gift cards with customizable options such as birthday and holiday themes. After users enjoy their Freebirds meal, they can share and rate their meal through social media outlets.

“The app gives us the opportunity to expand the way we interact with our guests; users will have the option to personalize their order and save it in the app for their next visit,” says vice president of marketing Erin Levzow. “As Freebirds experiences significant growth and innovation, we’d like to be able to keep in touch with our fans and reward our advocates and influencers.”
